ABOUT
Joyce began her career in private practice. She worked for a local Architectural firm while studying at Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University for her Architectural Technology degree. After six years there, she had completed the apprenticeship scheme, and graduated with her honours degree.
Joyce then took on a new role with a housing development company where she was the Architectural Technician responsible for one of the company’s
largest projects. While successfully supporting the growth of that site, Joyce’s expertise grew - not only in terms of technical knowledge, and understanding of the infrastructure required to sustain such a large site -
but also in the realms of project management.
With this broad range of experience, Joyce decided to study in her personal time, to become a fully qualified Chartered Architectural Technologist. And, in May 2020 she successfully passed the final interview assessment.
Joyce had long considered creating her own Architectural firm, and with her qualifications secured, she decided it was now time to launch her own practice in the North East.
